Would highly recommend. We paid for the teenage tyrant package for our young spaniel but we also have 2 older dogs. Lucy was amazingly helpful in giving me confidence to deal with my quite forceful and intelligent dachsund puppy. Not only did she need training but do did I! Lucy was patient and so understanding of my worries. She taught me lots of games and brain teasers for Lottie. Also was so helpful in finding a new lead, a different harness and useful toys. she explained in detail by email everything we had done in the lesson and was always there to answer questions. Brilliant 1:1 puppy training @ Daniels Dogs! With us being first time dog owners, Lucy provided lots of tips and advice to help us with our gorgeous cockapoo Nala! Lucy visited us on 4 occasions, and provided lots of training games for us to do with Nala all focused on being fun for both you and your pup. Lucy has been amazing in helping me a few times with my permanent foster GSDx (who is an older chap). As he was rescued from a kill shelter in Spain, he has a lot of anxiety from previous trauma and that can sometimes overwhelm him. Lucy has been amazing at giving me guidance with him, practicing recall and generally supporting me in giving him some fun games to do that will ultimately improve his life with me and give him some focus when life gets a bit scary for him. Our dog training experience with Lucy has been very positive and both I and my 1 year old rescue Cavapoo have really enjoyed our sessions and learnt a great deal!  We used our sessions to focus on encouraging my dog to feel relaxed and settled before working on lead walking, anxiety reduction, greeting others calmly etc which has been so helpful. Following my intuition of some one on one training we found Daniels Dogs. Lucy came to our home four times. She was clear in her tuition, understanding of problems and caring yet concise in how to deal with them, always compassionate to the fact  little 10 month old Munchkin is an adolescent puppy and will have his “moments”, and listened to me when I had my own “low self esteem” moments I am sure many puppy’s parents experience. We enjoyed the games, the long leads and the treats especially. I have a far better relationship with my pup and he is more secure with us. I would recommend as this type of training feels bespoke, kind and understanding of your pet. I had my consultation with Lucy last weekend. I’ve been wanting to train my dog for a few months as he has become dog reactive but always put it off. Lucy asked a lot of questions and really got to know my dog. She was really friendly and not patronising in the slightest (which I was worried about when using a trainer). I can’t wait for our next training session and hoping what she’s taught me will start to make a difference. Really impressed.
